Filing Your Taxes

    It is important to file your tax return every year. You can do this either online or by sending your tax return in the mail. You will need to fill one out for Quebec, and another out for Canada. While it can be overwhelming to file your taxes, there are several community organizations available to help you.

    Your tax return is due April 30th.

      What should I bring to my appointment?

        Personal Information

    • Social Insurance Numbers for you, your spouse, and any dependents (if applicable)
    • Brown paper or any immigration paper
    • Dates of birth for family members
    • Net income amounts for your spouse and any dependents 
    • Notice of Assessments from last year’s return (if applicable)
    • Your NETFILE access code (if applicable)
