ASTTeQ’s goal is to promote the health and well-being of trans people through peer support and advocacy, education and outreach, and community empowerment and mobilization. They offer peer counselling and accompaniment, advocating for trans people in various capacities (housing, accessing healthcare, legal name changes, etc.), drop-ins, resources and referrals, workshops, vaccinations, HIV/STBBI testing, condoms, lubricant, and free needles.

GrS Montreal is a centre offering a wide range of gender-affirming surgeries and operates out of the Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie, which is a private hospital in Montreal. Even though it is a private hospital, surgery you receive here may be covered by provincial health insurance, meaning you would not have to pay out-of-pocket. They also have a convalescent home for you to stay at while you recover (mandatory, depending on the surgery you receive).
